Born and raised in Vancouver, Stuart graduated from B.C.I.T. in Psychiatric Nursing and from Douglas College in General Nursing. He then worked in Acute Care, Psychiatry, in Vancouver. He successfully marketed and sold Cardiovascular & Emergency Monitoring Equipment for 5 years in Western Canada.

Stuart also managed a chain of 4 gourmet Coffee, Tea, & Spices stores.

He travelled through Europe, the Middle East, India, and Nepal on his own in 1976. Then after marrying his college sweetheart, Sharon, in 1981, they spent several months exploring the Orient, South East Asia and the Indian subcontinent. Some of Stuart’s highlights include trekking in the Himalayas, travelling through China by train, and snorkeling in Sri Lanka & the Philippines.

Stuart and Sharon continue to enjoy an active life with their three daughters, Andrea, Theresa, and Christina. They very much enjoy the outdoors, visiting the Gulf Islands, hiking, biking, fishing and gardening. Stuart is an active member of the Chemainus Dinner Theatre currently serving on the Board of Governors and is on the Board of Directors for Pacific Christian School.

Since 1991 when he first became licensed he has received many corporate and MLS awards as a top producer at the Victoria Real Estate Board. He very much enjoys working with people, is perceptive of his clients needs, and works very hard in helping them meet their real estate objectives.
